Our branch at Picton in Sydney’s Southern Highlands region contains a Resource Recovery Facility processing scrap metal, concrete and cardboard, plus a public-access Transfer Station for receiving materials from the local community and businesses.

REMONDIS Picton Resource Recovery Facility, located at 67 Wonga Road, is a public-access transfer station, receiving materials for recycling or safe disposal from the community and local businesses. Some of these materials can be disposed for free; other materials are charged by weight or by item. The current fee schedule for these materials is listed below, and available for download.

Putrescible (wet) waste – This includes general waste with wet or organic components, including food waste. | $484.80 $/Tonne | $98.00 (Minimum Charge) |
This includes household junk, furniture, mixed materials including plastic, glass, metal, timber and other materials. Loads must not contain food waste, liquid waste, asbestos or hazardous materials. | $444.40 $/Tonne | $89.00 (Minimum Charge) |
Materials must be clean / uncontaminated and includes bricks, concrete, roof tiles and terracotta pipes only. Loads containing other materials will be charged as dry waste. | $106.50 $/Tonne | $22.00 (Minimum Charge) |
Must be pre-sorted from mixed waste and includes small tree branches, grass and tree clippings and weeds with minimal soil. Tree branches must be less than 1 metre in length and 15cm in diameter. Loads that are not pre-sorted or contain materials such as untreated timber, palm trees, large branches, tree trunks, bamboo, bricks, or metal will be charged as dry waste. | $199.80 $/Tonne | $36.00 (Minimum Charge) |

In addition to operating a public-access resource recovery facility, REMONDIS Picton's local fleet and operations team provide commercial waste management and recycling collection services to local businesses, for the following waste streams:

We have proudly supported the local community for many years, including our sponsorship of the Camden Show. This volunteer-run, not for profit event has been a beloved tradition since 1886.
