Today’s children are tomorrow’s role models.
Australia is the second highest producer of waste per capita in the world.
…Put those two thoughts together and we believe we have a responsibility to share our knowledge of sustainable waste management practices with the next generation.
So REMONDIS is delighted to offer schools and interested community groups FREE excursions to our REdiscovery Hub at the Swanbank Renewable Energy & Waste Management Facility (known to locals as Swanbank Landfill).

Aligned to the Australian National Curriculum, the REdiscovery Hub is an interactive education space that addresses the impacts of waste generation and disposal, and explains practical methods to minimise waste by reducing, re-using, and recycling.
Specialist environmental education consultancy, EnviroCom, has designed an engaging learning experience which combines interactive activities at the purpose-designed REdiscovery Hub, and a coach tour of the landfill facility – which is something you don’t get to see every day. Tours are free, but must be booked in advance.
