Here's our story
In 2022 REMONDIS celebrated 40 years in Australia.
Our Australian story began in 1982 with a contract to service Penrith City Council; with 35,000 plastic wheelie bins imported from Germany, we set new standard for local waste logistics and changed Australian streetscapes forever. Since then, we’ve grown to be one of Australia’s leading waste, water and recycling services providers, and a quietly influential advocate for change. Today we have 900+ employees operating from 39 operational facilities across Australia, proudly serving 24,000 commercial and industrial customers.
We've marked 40 years of milestones in this short video. There's a lot to be proud of, and much to look forward to.
