REMONDIS is a leading commercial and industrial waste company. We focus on providing solutions to customers aimed at reducing waste in landfill, by recycling everyday items made from paper, cardboard, recyclable plastic, aluminium, steel and glass. These products can either be collected separately, depending on how much waste your business produces, or for convenience these can be collected in a single co-mingled bin, and later processed for recycling into new products and resources. We know it isn’t always possible or commercially viable to recycle all waste, for these scenarios we offer our general waste bin to collect any residual waste.
When we refer to food organics or garden organics, we mean food scraps or organic material including bones, shells, leaves, or grass clippings without any packaging, plastic, or harsh chemicals (such as strong pesticides). In households this type of waste is often called FOGO or ‘Food and Garden Organics’.

Hazardous and regulated wastes are materials that pose significant health, safety or environmental risks when disposed of improperly and so require specific reporting and transport requirements for compliant disposal. Hazardous waste is usually split between hazardous liquid waste or hazardous solid waste, and can include things like chemicals, acids and alkalis, motor oil and hydrocarbon waste, septic or sewage waste or even items like batteries and e-waste.

Clinical and medical waste is usually generated by medical or healthcare professionals including hospitals, medical centres, dentists, pharmacies, veterinary hospitals, aged care facilities and research and pathology facilities. Materials can include a range of waste including, needles and sharps, human or animal tissues, body fluids, bandages, instruments, samples, bloods, medical devices, sanitary waste, pharmaceuticals, poisons and radioactive medical waste.

Construction and demolition waste is heavy and bulky waste, often containing a mix of timber, concrete, bricks, tiles, rubble, metal, plastics, plasterboard and packaging. While this can be collected in a single large bulk bin, for larger construction sites it can be more cost-effective and environmentally beneficial to have separate bins for each type of waste.
